The Chinese Language Program is one of the key components that strengthens the multilingual and intercultural vision of the Department of Modern Languages. Considering China’s increasing role in global economics, diplomacy, technology, and cultural interaction, learning Chinese offers our students a strategic advantage and enables them to stand out in an internationally competitive environment.
Our program is structured to ensure that students view Chinese not merely as a basic means of communication, but as a gateway to Chinese culture, society, business, and the academic world. Language instruction is supported by contemporary pedagogical approaches and digital learning tools, providing a holistic learning environment.
The curriculum is conducted in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and aims to develop students’ four core language skills—listening, reading, writing, and speaking—in a balanced manner. Students who successfully complete the program attain the linguistic competence necessary to use Chinese effectively in daily and basic academic contexts, and their proficiency levels are certified by the university.
The Chinese Program aims to:
As one of the languages of the future, Chinese offers our students a strong roadmap for internationalization, career advancement, and global awareness.
